Rafiq Swash, HND, BEng, MIET, MIEEE

Managing Director

Rafiq Swash graduated with a first class honours BEng degree in Computer System Engineering from Brunel University. Mr. Swash was nominated for 6 outstanding prizes and was awarded 4 prizes which are the Graham Hawkes Prize and the Undergraduate University Prize for the Best Final Year Project, along with the Brunel University Medal plus �100 cheque for achieving excellence. Recently, Mr. Swash was awarded the Best Presentation prize at the Research student conference.

Mr. Swash has more than 8 years experience in object-oriented programming, Internet technologies and software project management. He worked for Global Betbrokers as a Software engineer and software project development leader for 3 years and he worked in a multi-million funded EU project. Also Mr. Swash is a member of IEEE and IET. Mr. Swash is currently pursuing his PhD programme in Brunel Business School at Brunel University and his current research interests include decision support systems, knowledge based systems, knowledge representation in hybrid and multi-layer approaches.

Kristel Tonna, BA, MA

Consultant

Kristel most recently graduated from a post graduate degree in law and economics from the University of London, SOAS.

Kristel has extensive experience in the iGaming market on an international level. iGaming is a highly innovative and fast paced industry, which both suffers and strives from an immature regulatory landscape. With her educational background and a carrier in Business Development in iGaming, Kristel's expertise lie in the area of new markets and new business channels as well as in online system development and implementation projects. Kristel brings a unique offering to the team.

Khalil Mohammed, BEng

Company Secretary

Khalil Mohammed is a graduate in Computer Systems Engineering from Brunel University, where he has learnt about the state of art developments in hardware and software. Khalil has the ability to design computer systems and networks in every aspect of commerce and industry.

Khalil is the co founder of RighTech and is responsible for ensuring the compliance of the organisation in relation to financial and legal practises, as well as issues of corporate governance.

As well as taking care of all the management side of the projects, he takes a lead role in each project and assists all the developers in completing a successful delivery of project to clients.

Overall Khalil is an independent and apparently friendly and easygoing person, who is also very passionate in sports. He has won several medals in football while playing as semi professional and is proud to be representing his country on few occasions at the Inner City mini World cup in London.

Khalil favourite quote is "Good is not enough, when you can aim for great", as he believes getting from good to great is about continuous improvement which everyone at RighTech always aims for.

Obaid Fatah, BEng, MIET

Software Project Manager

Obaid brings a broader range of technical and programming skills to the team. Using open source technology mostly PHP and MYSQL to develop complete functions and also using his expertise from different programming languages which he has learned during time at Brunel University as a BEng graduate in computer Systems Engineering.

Obaid is a key team player with incredible attention to detail and also the co founder of RighTech as he has the desire to do exceptional things.

Apart from RighTech Obaid is at present 2nd Dan Black Belt in taekwondo and has a very successful career with a lot of wins in his fights. His main ambition is to get into the Great Britain national team and participate in the 2012 Olympics.

Sadaf Ghani, Bsc

Marketing Manager

Is a graduate in Marketing from the University of Westminster, where she has been prepared to undertake and manage the process of developing consumer audiences and moving products from producers to customers. She has also explored her knowledge in market research, demand analysis, cost volume and pricing theory.

At Gulf and British (student consultancy) she had the challenge of implementing marketing strategy to attract international students and was working on establishing an English department for the company, at the completion of the project she was promoted to the Marketing manager position.

She is currently working as a marketing executive for an American brand 3Lab at Harrods where she is once again facing the challenge of exposing the brand to the targeted audience (English customer market).

However at RighTech she promises to bring all these experiences by taking a key role in product development and developing a pricing strategy she will help the team to maximize profits and market share while ensuring that the RighTech customers are satisfied. Sadaf thinks technology is the way ahead and to success, and apart from the general marketing of the company one of her key focus is e-Marketing, which is an electronic marketing refers to the application of marketing principles and techniques via electronic media and more specifically the Internet.

Ali Hussaini, BEng

Software Engineer

After a successful degree in the field of Internet Engineering, Ali the co founder of RighTech and during his academic has learned in depth about computer systems, graphic design, multimedia authoring, advertising and marketing of technologies.

Over the course of 4 years at Brunel University he took key modules such as Programming where he has explored his knowledge on Java, C++, XML, PHP and other programming languages.

As a network engineer he will be involved in the design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network. As well as using his expertise in Object Oriented programming and design patterns his focus is to design websites for range of companies all over the UK, Europe and Internationally. He is also involved in with SEO team (Search Engine Optimization) to ensure client�s website is number 1 in Google and Ali at RighTech will ensure these demands are met.

Jawid Azizi, BEng

Software Engineer

Jawid Azizi is a PhD candidate at Brunel University West London under the supervision of Prof. Abdul H. Sadka. His research is in multimodal fusion and synchronisation for optimised search and retrieval. He is also a member of IET and Centre for Media Communication Research (CMCR) at Brunel University.

Mr Azizi graduated from Brunel University in the year 2007 with a first class honour degree in Computer systems engineering and has worked in many different IT organisations since then. He has vast experience in understanding as well as analysing technical and business problems, and to develop creative yet workable solutions.

Ankit Verma

Software Engineer

Ankit Verma is currently finishing his final year at Brunel University working towards a BEng in computer Systems. Having worked for Symantic as part of his placement for more than a year he feels a lot more confident in software development practises, improving product quality by performance and scalability testing.

He has over 5 years of programming experience and is a quick learner and at RighTech we have full confidence that Ankit will bring process, management, technical expertise and industry experience to the rest of the team.
